PS1 Warm Up Party

PS1 is a MoMA museum housed in a gorgeous old brick elementary school in Queens. The "experimental art" exhibits are broken up by classroom, and include everything from photography and film, to sounds, paintings and even full room installations. Some of the pieces were interactive, but sometimes it was hard to figure out what was actually OK to touch. The museum was pretty cool, but I'm not going to lie, we actually went to PS1 to go to Warm Up, a Saturday day party, that hosts bands and DJs in the courtyard in front of the museum. I don't remember who played, but it was nice to see some interesting art, and be outside, listening to good music (and drinking, of course!) on a beautiful day.
